I'm in L.A., home of Fallen Fruit! As someone who stole pomegranates from a neighbor's yard as a kid, and who (yearly) picks roadside mulberries by the million, the concept of harvesting public fruit, veggies and nuts is exciting. heh, heh. after writing this two days ago, i kept eyeing high lemons in a tree, and tonight, got to eat overhanging mulberries by the handful in the hollywood hills. a lovely bit of happiness before heading home.
